Academy
Course material and training tied to roles and competencies
What it does
Author, deliver, and track training as typed objects on the substrate. Course completion becomes a real attribute on the principal — visible to QMS audits, available to gate IAM role assignment when policy requires it. Keycloak group membership and Academy progress sit on one substrate, so "qualified to perform" is a single fact, not a sync problem.
Training is not a separate system bolted onto the QMS — it is a typed object the same principal carries everywhere else in the platform. When an SOP requires a competency before a step can execute, BPMN can check Academy completion as part of the standard authorisation flow.
Key features
- Course authoring and delivery as typed objects
- Wired into IAM groups — completion can gate roles
- Audit-ready competency records, native to Assure
How it works
Courses, lessons, completions, and certifications are typed objects with edges to the principals who earned them. IAM groups can be configured to require an Academy completion as a precondition, so role assignment and competency stay in sync without a custom integration.
